Perwakilan Mumbai ladies participated in the “Kids Birthday Party Presentation” continuation from “The Menu Planning Seminar”. We were divided into 2 groups were each group are to plan their menu and to show their creativity in presenting the food and also the decorations. “Wild Orchids” group presented “Summer Theme Buffet Birthday Party”. “Melur” group presented “Princess Theme Formal Birthday Party”.
The event ended with birthday celebration for Puan Ida and Puan Afifah.

11/5/2012 – In conduction with the Malaysian Food Festival 2012 (9th – 17th May 2012) in collaboration with Malaysian Airlines and Tourism Malaysia, Perwakilan Mumbai has invited our International friends for a cooking demo at Hyatt Regency Mumbai by our Chef from Hyatt Regency Sabah, Chef DJohan Razi.

24/4/2012 – ENGLISH HI-TEA COMPETITION
English Hi-Tea Menu Competiton was held on 24 April 2012. The ladies were given an opportunity to show their skill and what they have learned from the previous seminar, “Menu Planning Seminar”. We were divided into 3 teams. Each team were given a task to PLAN, COOK and PRESENT their food in their own way. Thank you to all 4 judges, Datin Barbara Shamala Sreedharan, Mrs Nani Cappelut, Mrs Leah Mc Kenna and Mdm Manisha Kasana. Congratulations to team Melor!!!… The event ended with birthday celebration for Pn Siti Hazura, Pn Haryani and Pn Nor Hazima.
20/3/2012 – MENU PLANNING SEMINAR
Members of Perwakilan Mumbai participated the “Menu Planning Seminar” which was held at the Official Resident of Consul General Malaysia in Mumbai and organized by Perwakilan Mumbai.
Puan Katijah Abdul Jalil voluntered to conduct the seminar. We were divided into 3 groups with 3 different task where each group will have to do a presentation. Based on the assignment, the ladies will prepare and cook their food and also present it with their own creativity on our next seminar. Points will be given.
20/3/2012 – INTERNATIONAL WOMEN’S DAY (SHARING KNOWLEDGE ABOUT GEMS)
On 20th March 2012, Perwakilan Mumbai ladies shared knowledge about gemstones and celebrated International Women’s Day, an occasion marked by women’s group around the world. We invited Mr Deepak Malhotra and Mr Sameer Malhotra, 3rd generation jeweller from Delhi which owns 2 jewellery shops in Mumbai to give a talk and giving information about gemstones, gold, silver and platinum.
In addition, there was also a special gift for the best dress. Congratulations to Puan Maherah for the best dress of the day where she received the gift presented by Mrs Deepak and Mrs Sameer Malhotra. Next was the souvenir gift by Perwakilan Mumbai to Mr & Mrs Deepak Malhotra and Mr & Mrs Sameer Malhotra as a token of our appreciated presented by Puan Siti Hazura and Puan Ima.

13/3/2012 – ORANGE YELLOW LUNCHEON
Perwakilan Mumbai ladies celebrated Puan Enba’s farewell. Puan Enba will be moving to London. Perwakilan Mumbai would like to wish Puan Enba all the luck in the world. May stupendous achievements always be with you. We all pray for you.

A few of our Perwakilan ladies attended porcelain and art class. The art school offers 4 days porcelain painting classes and oil painting classes.
28/2/2012 – TABLE ETIQUETTE COURSE
Perwakilan Mumbai had a successful event on 28 Feb 2012. Table Etiquette Course was held at the official resident of Consul General Malaysia in Mumbai. The class was taught by a member of Perwakilan Mumbai, Puan Katijah who has a suitable educational background and experience. Perwakilan Mumbai would like to thank Puan Katijah for such an excellent quality course. We also celebrated Puan Enba’s birthday.
Grand Contest – Compete in the F1 Jigsaw Puzzle at Hard Rock Cafe Mumbai and win all expense paid trip to Malaysia to experience the Formula 1 Petronas Malaysian Grand Prix live.
16/2 – 17/2/2012 – DEUTSCHE SCHOOL BOMBAY INTERNATIONAL SCHOOL (DSBIS) CARNIVAL (CHARITY) 2012
Perwakilan Mumbai took part in the Deutsche Schule Bombay International School (DSBIS), Mumbai Carnival (Charity) 2012 on 17 February 2012. All ladies gathered at Puan Salwani’s resident the previous day (16 February 2012) for the food preparation. Our Malaysian stall offered Satay (small pieces of chicken barbeque), Karipap (Curry Puff) and Agar-agar (Jelly).
