500 gram roasted rice flour

1 tsp salt

boiling hot water



1. Put roasted rice flour in a mixing bowl. Add salt and mix well.

2. Prepare steamer for steaming puttu mayam.

3. Then, boil water and add to the ingredients. Stir quickly till dough.

4. Place some dough into puttu mayam maker and press out onto a plate.

5. Steam over high flame for 4 to 5 minutes.

6. Repeat until dough is used up.

7. Serve with grated coconut and sugar or curry chicken.
